Summary

Creek Technologies is seeking an Information Technology Systems and Network Administrator responsible for administering all IT systems, communications assets, and services for the company. The accepted candidate implements and maintains our Domain Name Server, Active Directory Servers, Windows Server, SharePoint Admin, and Exchange servers, Network Attached Storage (NAS), cloud-based storage, our PBX and VoIP system, switches, routers, wireless devices, user computers, printers, and wired security system. Daily tasks may include installing, upgrading, patching, monitoring software and hardware. The Systems Administrator will maintain the essentials such as operating systems, business applications, security tools, web servers, email, laptop, and desktop PCs. Duties will include managing network monitoring and security systems.

Responsibilities

  • Support LANs, WANs, network segments, Internet, and intranet systems
  • Make recommendations for future upgrades
  • Deploy and maintain network and system security
  • Troubleshoot problems reported by users and analyze and isolate issues
  • Monitor networks to ensure security
  • Evaluate and modify system’s performance
  • Maintain network facilities in individual machines, such as drivers and settings of personal computers as well as printers
  • Maintain integrity of the network, server deployment, and security
  • Ensure network connectivity throughout a company’s LAN/WAN infrastructure is on par with technical considerations
  • Deploy and maintain network servers such as file servers, and VPN gateways
  • Perform network address assignment
  • Assign routing protocols and routing table configuration
  • Assign configuration of authentication and authorization of directory services
  • Administer servers, laptop and desktop computers, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, company mobile phones, smartphones, software deployment, security updates and patches

Qualifications

  • Specific experience with Microsoft Operating Systems Windows 10 & 11, Microsoft Server & Azure Cloud, and Microsoft 365
  • Specific experience with Microsoft Hyper-V is a plus
  • Experience with Cisco firewall technology is a plus
  • Experience with LAN, switching, and routing
  • Experience with NAS and on-site/cloud data backup
  • Security+ certification or equivalent
  • Active Directory Administration
  • Experience with STIG(s) (Security Technical Implementation Guides)
  • Familiarity with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) is a plus

Education

Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or completion of IT related coursework at a technical school desired. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer technology, or relevant field, preferred.
